I am really excited to tell you that soon etsy will have direct checkout! What this means is that you will be able to purchase items from my etsy page with your credit or debit card rather than have to use your paypal account. If you prefer to use paypal you will still be able to use it. Etsy wide gift cards are also going to be made available.
This is really exciting for me. Many of my customers have expressed that they are not interested or comfortable opening a paypal account. Having direct checkout will allow more customers to purchase items online. Read more about this on etsy.com or at pcmag.com.
